Phlebotomy Technician Training Program
Program Tuition: $850
Granite Mountain Training’s Phlebotomy Technician Program provides entry-level students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to safely perform blood-collection procedures in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, blood-donation centers, and other healthcare settings.
This three-week, 32-hour, in-person program combines instructor-led classroom education, simulation, supervised skills labs, and authorized live blood collections. Topics include infection control, bloodborne pathogen safety, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, patient identification, equipment selection, order of draw, venipuncture, capillary collection, specimen labeling and handling, complication management, professionalism, and patient communication.
Students will progress from task trainers to supervised live procedures and must successfully document at least 30 venipunctures and 10 capillary collections, along with all required competency checkoffs.
